Probate Solicitors Bournemouth

When anybody passes away and leaves anything more than nominal property and assets, it will almost certainly be necessary for Probate (with a Will) or a grant of representation (without a Will) to be obtained. The Probate process can often be complex and a little confusing, please see our article 'The Probate Process explained' for a better understanding.

An executor or administrator will be appointed to deal with the estate (Investment, property and possessions) of the deceased. The executor or administrator is legally obliged to collect in all the assets of the estate, pay any outstanding debts and/or tax. They must then distribute what is left of the estate to the person(s) entitled under the Will or intestacy.
